Lily was found dodging traffic on South Lamar by a Good Samaritan from Greyhound Rescue Austin and brought to Forgotten Friends for rescue. This darling girl is beautiful and friendly... but unfortunately heartworm positive. This blog is the chronicle of her stay with our group while we treat her heartworms (she will be as good as new after!!) and find her Forever Home!

- 08-02-07: Found walking in traffic on S. Lamar by a rescuer from Austin Greyhound Rescue & brought into rescue.
- 08-09-07: Found to be heartworm positive
- 08-11-07: Accepted into rescue by Forgotten Friends- Mixed Breed Rescue
- 08-19-07: Arrives at our Foster Home
- 08-23-07: Underwent heartworm treatment at Compassion Animal Hospital and stayed overnight in the hospital
- 09-15-07: Lily gets a trial at a wondeful foster-to-adopt home!!
